How the Contest Works

Preliminary Round:

• When you register, you will receive a raffle ticket with a number.
• When the contest begins, we will randomly select a raffle ticket.
• When your number is called, you will proceed to the front and draw a key from the bag.
• You will attempt to unlock a lockbox containing car keys.
• 10 of the keys in the bag will successfully unlock the lockbox.
• If your key does not unlock the lockbox, discard your key but remain at the event. If there are still available winning keys after all contestants have attempted, we will re-draw from all raffle tickets until we have 10 finalists.
• If your key unlocks the lockbox, open it and select one of the 10 Hyundai Elantra key fobs.
• Once all 10 Hyundai Elantra key fobs have been distributed, we will move to the final round.

Final Round:

• The 10 finalists will have their raffle tickets placed back into the drawing box.
• We will randomly draw raffle tickets.
• When your number is called, you will attempt to start the Hyundai Elantra using the key fob you selected.
• The key fob that successfully starts the car determines the winner.
• If your key fob does not start the car, you are eliminated from the contest.
• If your key fob starts the car, CONGRATULATIONS, YOU WIN!
• Each of the 9 finalists who do not win the car will receive a prize.

Additional Prizes:

• We will have random door prizes for key winners throughout the contest, so stay and enjoy the event!

Findlay Hyundai Key to Win Car Giveaway Official Rules & Disclosures

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

Eligibility:

• Open to legal residents of Utah or Nevada who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
• Participants must possess a valid Utah or Nevada driver’s license.
• Employees, officers, and directors of Findlay Automotive of Utah, Inc., Canyon Media Corporation, St. George News, their affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) or persons living in the same household are not eligible to enter.
• The contest is void where prohibited by law.
• By participating, entrants agree to abide by these official rules. Any deviation will result in disqualification.

How to Enter:

Eligible individuals may qualify to enter by doing one of the following:

• Registering in person at Findlay Hyundai, 1145 E Twin Rocks Cove, Washington, UT 84780.
• Listening to 99.9 KONY Country, 95.9 The Hawk, Sunny, Planet or The Fan Sports Network as well as St George News and participating in on-air promotions, social media contests, or website contests as directed.
• Registering at designated live remote broadcasts (“qualifying events”) hosted by the participating stations. At each qualifying event, one or more participants will be randomly selected to become a “Qualified Individual.”
• Additional qualifiers will be permitted on-site at Findlay Hyundai on April 26, 2025, before 11:30 AM. No additional qualifiers will be allowed after 11:30 AM.
• All qualifying events and details will be announced on participating stations.
• Limit one entry per person. Duplicate or fraudulent entries will be disqualified.

Winner Selection & Claiming Prize:

• A total of 100 qualifiers will be selected at random before the event from Findlay Hyundai, Canyon Media radio stations, and St. George News promotions.
• Qualifiers must be present at the event on April 26, 2025, to participate in the giveaway. If a selected qualifier is not present when the contest begins, their spot may be forfeited.
• During the Preliminary Round, each qualifier will receive a raffle ticket. Contestants will be randomly selected to draw a key from a bag and attempt to unlock a lockbox. Ten (10) contestants whose keys successfully open a lockbox will move on to the Final Round.
• In the Final Round, the 10 finalists will have their raffle tickets placed back into the drawing box. Contestants will be randomly selected to attempt to start the Hyundai Elantra using the key fob they selected in the Preliminary Round.
• The contestant whose key fob successfully starts the Hyundai Elantra will be declared the Grand Prize Winner.
• If a contestant’s key fob does not start the car, they are eliminated from the contest and will receive a consolation prize.
• The Grand Prize Winner must provide valid government-issued photo identification to claim the prize.
• All contestants must remain present throughout the contest to remain eligible for prizes.

Prize Details:

One (1) winner will have the choice of:

• A three-year lease of a 2025 Hyundai Elantra SEL , 10,000 miles per year. The lease is subject to approval by Hyundai Motor Finance, and the winner must meet all credit qualifications. The winner is responsible for any excess mileage, wear and tear, and other fees per the lease agreement.
• OR a $9,500 cash alternative (awarded in the form of a check).

Winner Responsibilities:

• The winner is responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, as well as title, license, registration fees, insurance, and a $299 dealer fee.  Failure to purchase and maintain adequate insurance on the vehicle may result in repossession of the vehicle by Hyundai Motor Finance.
• If the lease option is selected, the winner must qualify with Hyundai Motor
• Finance and sign a standard lease agreement. If the winner does not qualify for the lease, they will receive the $9,500 cash alternative.
• The prize is non-transferable and may not be substituted except at the dealership’s discretion.
• The winner must accept the prize not later than 30 days after April 26, 2025.
• The winner will receive a 1099 tax form reflecting the value of the prize and must provide the necessary identification and disclosure of their social security number or tax identification number so that Findlay Hyundai may properly issue such 1099 for tax year 2025

General Conditions:

• By participating, entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Findlay Hyundai, which are final and binding.
• Findlay Hyundai, Canyon Media Corporation, and St. George News reserves the right to modify or cancel the promotion at any time without prior notice.
• By entering, participants agree to allow Findlay Hyundai, Canyon Media Corporation, and St. George News to use their name, likeness, and city/state for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
• Findlay Hyundai, Canyon Media Corporation, and St. George News is not responsible for any technical malfunctions, lost entries, or other errors affecting the contest.
• Any participant who tampers with the entry process, violates these rules, or engages in unsportsmanlike conduct will be disqualified.
• The Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Contest in the event of fraud, technical issues, or other circumstances beyond its control.
• If modifications to the rules are necessary, they will be announced on the participating stations.

Limitation of Liability:

• By entering, participants release and hold harmless Findlay Hyundai, Canyon Media Corporation, St. George News, and their respective owners, employees, affiliates, and agents from any liability arising from participation in the giveaway or acceptance/use of the prize, including but not limited to personal injury, loss, or damage.
• The Sponsor is not responsible for mechanical issues, maintenance, or additional costs associated with the leased vehicle.  The winner will be responsible for oil changes, tires, brakes and other maintenance items which are not covered by the automobile lease and there is no obligation to purchase such maintenance from Findlay Hyundai.
• The Sponsor is not responsible for technical failures, communication errors, or any other disruptions that may affect the Contest.

Dispute Resolution:

• All disputes arising out of or connected to this Contest will be resolved individually in Salt Lake City, Utah, under Utah state law.
• Participants waive all rights to punitive, incidental, or consequential damages.

Rules & Winner List:

• Copies of these rules and winner identification are available at Canyon Media Corporation, 3143 S 840 E STE 100, St. George, UT 84790, or upon request via a stamped, self-addressed envelope sent to the same address.
• The winner will be announced on participating stations following the Grand Prize Drawing.
