Top 10 Songs for Getting in the Mood
Setting the mood doesn’t take much more than a few candles and the right soundtrack. But what songs will get you both in the mood? Digital music service Spotify commissioned music psychologist Daniel Mullensiefen of the University of London to find out which songs work best in the bedroom. To that end, he surveyed 2,000 men and women in the United Kingdom, ages 18 to 91. “It’s no surprise that so many respondents claimed to find music arousing in the bedroom,” Mullensiefen said, adding that music activates the same pleasure centers of the brain that respond to rewards such as food, drugs or sex. One important note: Men were quite willing to change the tune to please their lady as way of ensuring greater success in the bedroom, says Mullensiefen.
