With Aaron Taylor-Johnson pegged as the next 007, new research has identified the highest-rated former James Bond actors, with Daniel Craig coming out top. No Deposit Friend calculated the average user rating across IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes for all 25 movies in the James Bond franchise so far. They then looked at which James Bond actor has achieved the highest average movie rating. Daniel Craig was found to be the fan-favorite Bond actor, with an average movie rating of 7.56 out of 10.

The study also looked at the highest-rated Bond film of all-time, with Casino Royale placing first with an average rating of 8.50 out of 10. Both No Time to Die and Goldfinger were ranked second with an average rating of 8.05, while Skyfall placed third with an average rating of 8.00.
