What Body Part Do We Notice First?
A man is attracted to a woman’s eyes — before he ever notices her breasts. That’s the (dubious?) word from Murine, the company that makes eye drops, which surveyed 1,000 British men and women about the body parts they first notice in the opposite sex. And they discovered that when a man checks out a lady, the body part to which he first pays attention is her eyes. Her breasts come in a distant third, believe it or not.
The order in which men notice women’s body parts:
- Eyes
- Smile
- Breasts
- Hair
- Weight
- Legs
- Clothing
- Derrière
- Height
- Skin
“This study almost crushes the common stereotype that the first thing men look at is a woman’s chest,” a spokesman for Murine told Britain’s Express newspaper. “However, it came third on the list, so it’s not quite a changed habit.”

- Face shape
- Derriere
- Nose
25 percent of men have been caught by their wife/girlfriend looking at another woman. On the other hand, 20 percent of women admit doing a U-turn when they see a handsome man.
