Seraphine Slams Chicago Documentary
Former Chicago drummer Danny Seraphine is lashing out at a new documentary about the band. “Now More Than Ever: The History of Chicago” aired on CNN on New Year’s Day, but was not produced by the network’s news staff. The special was instead directed and edited by Chicago drummer Lou Pardini’s nephew. Seraphine addressed the film this week on Facebook writing, “Revisionist history at its best.” The “Washington Post” is also questioning CNN about the ethics involved in presenting a film “about a subject made under the editorial control of the subject itself.”
